Embrace technology - work with real pianos as well as digital pianos and samplers - we will develop portable studios which they carry around with them. They can play electro-acoustic music
Work as soloists and within a range of ensembles including singers, duets, rock groups and orchestras
Have:
Clean CRB (Criminal record Bureau) certificates
Knowledge of relevant child legislation including the Children Act and
the Protection of Children Act
A range of musical/piano qualifications
Some have teaching qualifications such as a PGCE (primary/secondary) or a CT ABRSM
Membership of the Musicians Union which provides them with £10m
public liability cover
Undertake CPD - Develop their knowledge of performing, piano, other instruments, composing
